The only thing keeping me from turning the doorknob and entering through the front door, was for what I knew was waiting for me on the other side. I knew, despite the lack of reply, there was someone lurking, a large-caliber weapon trained on where I would burst in.
Well, this post would be rather easy to use under almost any appropriate circumstance. It’s suspenseful, it’s just descriptive enough to not be completely vague—I like it. I like it a lot.
